Hi Grade 2s,
We missed another week of school and i'm starting to miss you all! I am happy to hear that some of you have been visiting our computer lab website as you all already know how to access it from our school website. You may have noticed that I have added a few more links on the Second grade page for you to explore and have fun while learning! Here's what I would want you to do and try this week: 1. Continue to practice your keyboarding skills on these websites: a. Dance Mat Typing - finish up to Level 2 and have fun practicing your keyboarding skills b. Typing Games - Try any of these typing games and have more fun typing PARENTS: Your participation is required during the games to encourage your child to use the correct hand. 2. Explore any of the learning activities on the Grade 2 page and let me know which one is the most fun for you :) This will be a place where I will be posting most of our computer lessons, news about what we are up to in our tech classes and any interesting links that will enhance student learning and most of all will host a showcase of the technology projects the second graders have completed. All are welcome to provide appropriate comments :) Hope you enjoy reading and being a part of our Second Grade blog :)
