Hi Grade 4s,
We missed another week of school and i'm starting to miss you all! We have missed our tech classes but i'm sure most of your are all using tech skills with all the homework and online activities your homeroom teachers have been giving you. For Tech this week, here's what I would want you to do: 1. Continue to practice your keyboarding skills for at least 10-15 minutes at a sitting 2-3 times a week on these websites: a. Typing Web - register for an account to track your typing progress and work on the Beginner Course b. Typing Games - Try any of these typing games and have more fun typing PARENTS: Please encourage your child to use the correct hand. 2. Send me an e-mail ([email protected]) about your flood situation or experience. 3. Explore any of these Word Games to increase your vocabulary and let me know what you scored and which one is the most fun for you :) This will be a place where I will be posting most of our computer lessons, news about what we are up to in our tech classes and any interesting links that will enhance student learning and most of all, will have a link to all the fourth grade student blogs. All are welcome to provide appropriate comments :) Hope you enjoy reading and being a part of our Fourth Grade blog :)
