I can find and name the 7 continents, major countries in each continent, and oceans using Google Earth. I can perform formatting in Word. I can change the Page Set Up to Landscape. ESLR. I can respectfully work with others and do my part in a team. 1. Download the Microsoft Word document. 2. Find out the names of the 7 continents, 5 major countries in each continent and 6 oceans of the World using Google Earth and enter them into the table on your Word document. - Continents on the brown shaded cells - List the oceans in the cell under Oceans. 3. Format your document to make it look great on the page. - Go to File >Page Set up - Paper Orientation >Landscape - Change text Font, size, style 4. Save your work properly into one of your folders.

We missed another week of school and i'm starting to miss you all! I am happy to hear that some of you have been visiting our computer lab website as you all already know how to access it from our school website. You may have noticed that I have added a few more links on the Third grade page for you to explore and have fun while learning! Here's what I would want you to do and try this week: 1. Continue to practice your keyboarding skills on these websites: a. Dance Mat Typing - finish up to Level 2 and have fun practicing your keyboarding skills b. Typing Games - Try any of these typing games and have more fun typing PARENTS: Your participation is required during the games to encourage your child to use the correct hand. 2. Explore any of the Skill Builder Games on the Grade 3 page and let me know which one is the most fun for you :) This will be a place where I will be posting most of our computer lessons, news about what we are up to in our tech classes and any interesting links that will enhance student learning and most of all, will have a link to all the third grade student blogs.
